Graphic Reference Archive &
Active Agents for the
Science Museum
Here at Data over the years we have managed to accumulate vast amounts of original reference material from over the decades dating back to the 1600s. Our archive gives you the chance to make your productions as authentic as possible with minimum hassle, simply email in the time frame and location of your production and we can do the rest, you will always be surprised with what we have to offer.
The archive consists mainly of newspapers, magazines, posters, ephemera, packaging, cleared photos, wallpapers, bags and labels. With what we have on file we are confident we can dress your sets from head to toe in authentic period graphics from what-ever or where-ever your productions may be set.
Every time you start a new production it's always worth checking with us first before you embark on a photoshopping session of cleaning up old artwork as we may already have it!
Getting authentic graphics from the past is becoming more of a difficult task as time goes by, that is why we have started scanning in period graphics and cleaning them up so that when they are called upon, they do not need cleaning up or setting up to print, all you need to do is get the green light from your clearance teams.
A new addition to our services, is our ability to access all Railway Posters from the Science Museum's archive.
We want to give you the best possible results with any artworks we produce. With this in mind we have launched the picture archive, this gives graphic designers the opportunity to use our authentic pictures in their artworks to produce the most authentic artworks they can. Our picture archive dates back to the Victorian era and spans across the whole world with great variety. These pictures are all originals, owned by us, which means we can sign off any user agreements that clearance teams throw at you. A regular job for the photo archive is for newspapers and magazines as these are the perfect replacements for any original pictures that for legal reasons have to be replaced. We have categorised the photo archive by decades, therefore if you email in with a particular subject or year then we can send you all the appropriate pictures we have to offer. We charge from £20 per picture however discounts can be made upon requesting multiple images.
